Music Release of the year: My favourite releases would be the Suede Razors 7" Boot Boy Anthems and their new 7" Boys Night Out, I really liked both of these just because of the unique sound, especially in the track Boy Night Out with a type of rock n roll guitar riff. I really like the Topnovil album too, they sound like early Rancid which I like quite a lot.

Best gig of the year - For one that I've been to, was Cock Sparrer, Argy Bargy, UK Subs and more in Wolverhampton, it was the first time I've actually got to see Cock Sparrer so that was brilliant! As for one I've played, it would have to be a show earlier this month with Stomper 98 and Soifass, that another brilliant gig!

Biggest disappointment of the year/worst release - I'm not too sure with this one, I think this year had a lot of releases and quite a few new bands come about, so actually I think this year was quite a good one for the scene.

Some other thoughts on the scene of 2014? Did something special, bad, sad or spectacular happen? Like I said, I think there has as a lot of new releases, and I have seen a lot more that are coming out in early 2015... It seemed this year that there was a lot more gigs happening in the UK too, and its looking the same for next year too, which is always good!

What's your plans for 2015: Grade 2 will have a split with Saints & Sinners released in early 2015, no set date for that yet. We are also working on an album, so hopefully that will be released to within the year if all goes to plan! But for now, we'll be playing gigs in some places we haven't played yet, which im looking forward to!
